Our wedding in Phoenix turned into a six day party- exactly what I’d always wanted. I know it’s the bride that traditionally dreams of her wedding day, but I’m not ashamed to admit I thought about it once or twice- and always as a multi-day fiesta.
So many friends and family helped out to make it an extraordinary and unique event. There was lots of laughter, some appropriate crying and at the end of the night everyone danced like fools.
Then after three weeks in Phoenix we started our Honeymoon this past Sunday- at home. It’s pretty tough to beat 80 degree weather, sunshine, mountains, and having all our own stuff (including a new Wii to play with). Sure there’s some work to be done, but that’s o.k.
